As she finished looking over the contract for what felt like the fiftieth time, she wondered if she was supposed to wait to sign it until he was in the room. No, he would have specified that if it were the case. Arriana knew without even reading it that this is what she wanted, that Xander was what she wanted. But she didn’t want to start off with already not listening to a command.
She picked up the pen and quickly signed her name and wrote in the date in the appropriate place. As soon as she did it, a feeling of calm went through her. It was done. Now she could just be Xander’s and not have to worry anymore. Arriana sat and fantasized for a few minutes before coming back to her senses and realizing that she was supposed to meet Xander in the bedroom when she had finished with the contract.
She started to run up the stairs as fast as she could, but then slowed herself down, almost comically stopping herself.
“No,” she thought to herself, “I can be more graceful.”
But she realized that walking slower had its own problems. The nervousness came unexpectedly. She knew she had no reason to be nervous, but it came anyway, and along with it, came the thoughts.
“What if I mess this up? What if he gets bored? Do I really know what I’m getting into? Is three months really long enough to know someone before letting them take complete control?”
The questions kept coming, and before she knew it, she was standing at the bedroom door. Her hand shook as she reached for the knob. Arriana hesitated for a few moments and took a deep breath. She pushed open the door and all her nervousness left. Xander was pacing back and forth looking as scared as she had just been. His hair looked like he had repeatedly ran his fingers through it, and his forehead was marked with creases from his look of deep thought.
“You know Sir, there is going to be a permanent path in the carpet if you keep that up,” she said trying hard not to giggle.
He jerked his head up and his whole face changed. He walked toward her and immediately got that look in his eye.
“Did you make your decision, pet?” he asked as he stepped in front of her.
She looked up at him and nodded as she drank him in. “My decision is yes. I’ll do it.”
He looked at her a moment longer and then his hand-made its way to the back of her neck and slid his fingers into her hair. He grabbed a fist of it and she practically purred.
“No,” he said, “your answer is yes Master. Say it for me Ari.”
“Good girl, now go to the bathroom and get cleaned up. When you come out I expect you to be wearing less clothes.”
She started for the bathroom and laughed at the smack on her ass as she walked by him. So much for being nervous.
